![]() ![]() I have a feeling ut*****t and Transmission are probably both based on the same codebase (same libraries used), does anyone know of another client I could try that does not use the same libraries? This would not be a permanent solution since something must be wrong here, since a userland program can crash the whole system. 20 connections, I don't know what the heck is going on now. At first I thought it might have to do with network or disk drivers, but with only 20 KB/s and max. So I don't have a clue what's going on here. It's actually really weird, I just had a crash less then a minute after I opened Transmission, and it said is it connected to "4 out of 10 peers" and the transfer rate was around 20 KB/s. I looked at the system.log and kernel.log but there doesn't seem to be any relevant info there, there wasn't even any messages within 1 minute of when the crash happened (I noted the time when it crashed was 6:12, but the last log entry is 6:10). Note that I've been running Windows before and I had absolutely no problems, so I doubt my hardware is faulty. ![]() I even left it play a youtube playlist full-screen for a few hours but it didn't crash.īut when I start a t*****ting program I'll get a crash anywhere between a few minutes to 1 hour later. I've tried doing stuff without a bitt*****t program active and I don't get any crashes. Graphics: GTS 450 (but I doubt this one is relevant) I'm on Lion 10.7.4, used UniBeast to install fresh 10.7.0, update and used MultiBeast. I've tried Transmission and ut*****t for Mac. I've been having system crashes all the time if I run a bit t*****t client for a while. Building a CustoMac Hackintosh: Buyer's Guide ![]()
